Cate Brennan is a lifelong Democrat, nonprofit executive, healthcare advocate, and community organizer. Raised in North Texas, she brings decades of leadership experience in healthcare policy, nonprofit management, and public advocacy.

She served as CEO and senior executive of major national healthcare associations, working on legislation related to human trafficking, youth safety, and public health. Cate holds a BS in Journalism from the University of North Texas, an MBA from Texas Woman’s University, and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE)—a distinction held by fewer than 5% of association professionals.

Cate lives in Grapevine with her partner and is running to restore fairness, opportunity, and grace to Texas government.
